Our region – compartmentalized in a Franconian way, diverse and interesting. Timbered houses, sharp gables and a portion of honest idyll, sometimes framed with flowers. Narrow river valleys in between. The peaks surrounded by woodland. Bike paths all around, hiking destinations at short stretches between the small towns along the Romantic Road. And day trips by car range from the Franconian lake region to romantic Franconia and the Hohenlohe Jagst valley or Ries in Swabia.
